Greer/Swift team to miss Haskins 4-ball
Reports out of Macon, Ga indicate that the team of Hal Greer, (and partner) may miss the Haskins four-ball due to an unforseen scheduling conflict. Sources indicate the two are planning a trip to Phoenix, AZ on March 27 to spend the weekend with their good pal, David Bliss.
Also, my third prediction from below is wrong. It should read:
Dennis Felton will be saved by God in the form of a tornado.

Early 2008 predictions
I hope everyone won tons of money last night on the Super Bowl. My biggest winner was "over" the number of times Peyton Manning was shown during the telecast.
Kind of a boring time of the year to blog about anything in particular, so perhaps it is appropriate that I make a few predictions for 2008, (in no particular order).
1. Girls will get naked at this year's Peach Blossom party.
2. Hal Greer will be clubhouse leader after the first round of the Georgia State Amateur, (and miss the cut).
3. Dennis Felton will be named the new coach at Grambling.
4. Georgia's football team will wear black at night versus Tennessee, (and win by 19).
5. Michael Vick will find God, and be granted an early release, (only to violate his parole with an undercover female police officer).
6. Osama Bin Laden will be caught right before the November election.
7. John Daly will get in a final round pairing with Tiger Woods, (and beat him).

Conference championships and more
Just watched the replay of the Sugar Bowl last night. I spotted my wife and daughter in the stands with 7:28 to go in the second quarter, (by that time I believe $64 worth of beer had been consumed in the Superdome). The game was much better from the first row in the corner of the end zone than on Fox television, I might add, and Hawaii's offense was by far the worst we had played the entire year. My theory on the run-and-shoot offense is that it works best when run by a team who has the best quarterback, receivers, offensive linemen, and running backs in their entire league when playing against a shitty opponent.
Now for my underdawgma pick for this weekend's conference championships...
Surprise! There is not an underdawgma selection for this week. As much as I would like to pick the Giants because of their road dominance, Brett Favre is better than Eli Manning. Also, when going back to 1970, most of these games are decided by 14 points or more. Go figure.

Aloha!

Greetings all! Finally made it back from New Orleans last Thursday, and have not had the desire to blog until now. The only comment that I will make from the game is that Hawaii was the worst offense that UGA played all year. The best chance they had to score against our starting defense was best captured in the photo I took at the Warrior team hotel before the game, (that's Miss Hawaii standing between two drunken dawg fans).
Nonetheless, it's time to switch gears to Pro Football and discuss my selection for the upset special of the conference semi-final games. We have four games this weekend in which all dawgs are receiving more than a touchdown. Be careful, however, as all bets are off when it comes to the playoffs. There may be a blowout or 2, but I am sensing a major upset brewing. New England? Good guess, but I don't think the Jags will quite pull it out. My gut tells me to go with the least tempting underdawg on the board. Look no further than the...
SAN DIEGO SUPERCHARGERS!!!
I have not heard one single pundit giving them a shot at winning this game. Therefore, lock'm down! The chargers are the pick to win outright, as the Colts are caught looking too far ahead.
